Has a anybody tried Finless 1.5a ROM? It seems to be more stable with improved WIFI. I haven't tried it, still waiting to receive my device. The Finless 1.5a ROM is available here: http://www.freaktab.com/showth.....Custom-ROM

Haven't tied it, but doesn't look too much different from the 1.5 ROM... which is great!

I´ve flashed it.
Its faster I think, but the wifi still drops. HOWEVER, many people report that the wifi DOESNT drop down to 5mbps. So its definitely something to try.

I had the same problem with my wifi connection, so I manually set my IP Address instead of using DHCP and have not had any issues since.

You can do that from the mk808? or you log into the router and do it from your laptop? I´m not very good at that stuff :)

Yes, you can do this from the MK808. When you select a wireless network, change DHCP to Static and then enter an IP address within your network. The IP Address will usually be something like 192.168.1.10 with a Subnet of 255.255.255.0 and a Gateway of 192.168.1.1. If you are using a DLINK router, it will be 192.168.0.10 with Subnet of 255.255.255.0 and Gateway of 192.168.0.1.

I hope this helps.

I've been using 1.5a for a week now. Also switched over to a usb wifi adapter and disabled the internal adapter. The wifi is consistent without drops using DHCP.
